Partner

Marcus graduated from the London School of Economics with a Master of Science degree and worked for the OECD as an economist. He qualified as a chartered accountant and Wirtschaftsprüfer with Price Waterhouse, transferred to their corporate finance practice and became a partner. After 12 years with Price Waterhouse he joined Arthur Andersen as a partner to run their European Healthcare Group and subsequently founded the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Sal. Oppenheim where he served as a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Investment Banking for 6 years. Marcus has worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years and has completed more than 40 healthcare transactions.

Partner

Frank graduated from the University of Karlsruhe with a Masters Degree in Business and Engineering (Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur). He worked for major international accounting firms Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen for 8 years initially in the accounting division and then in their corporate finance groups focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions in the healthcare industry. He spent 6 years at Sal. Oppenheim where he was a Managing Director and Head of the Healthcare M&A Group. He has advised on more than 20 completed healthcare transactions.

Partner

Dariusch graduated from the University of Freiburg with a PhD in Chemistry and conducted postdoctoral studies at UC Berkeley. He began his professional career in R&D at Degussa AG following which he took an MBA at IESE in Barcelona. He then joined Schering AG where he held positions in strategic marketing and operations. He was posted to the US to launch Betaferon and subsequently returned to Europe, to launch the product there. For the last 12 years Dariusch worked as a Pharma-CEO at Schering in Eastern Europe, then at Madaus SA in Spain. In 2003 he founded the pharmaceutical business Lab. Gebro Pharma SA which he built to a € 25 m turnover and successfully divested in 2007. Dariusch has over 20 years experience in the healthcare sector and an extensive international industry network.

Partner

Markus graduated with an MBA from the European Business School and has spent most of his career in the private equity industry. He started his career with Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, worked for Advent International and 3i PLC. He has also served as CFO and then CEO of the private equity backed company ACG which he led to an IPO on the German stockmarket. He has also gained experience as a co-founder of FBH a private equity firm focused on turnarounds.

Investment Manager

Tobias graduated from the University of Konstanz with a degree in Economics (Diplom-Volkswirt) and started his career  in the healthcare M&A teams of Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. Tobias gained a strong operational background as finance director of  the German hospital operator HSK Group as well as CEO of a group hospital.  He is appointed as honorary member to the supervisory board of the Frankfurter Stiftungskrankenhäuser. Tobias has worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years in M&A-advisory as well as operational manager.

Associate

Rainer graduated from the  International School of Management  (Dortmund, Madrid, Vancouver) as Diplomkaufmann (ISM). He worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in transaction services and valuation division. Rainer worked on major projects for Private Equity companies focusing on financial modeling and financing of transactions (acquisitions and add-ons).
